An interview with… Jonas Höfer
Jonas Höfer is one of our new business development managers and has been part of our sales team for six months now. We wanted to find out more about him and what brought him here; he gave us the inside scoop.
Why did you choose to join the Corscience sales team?
Here I have the opportunity to bring in my affinity for and interest in medical technology solutions, along with my business training and customer-driven mindset. As a development service provider for international companies, with innovative solutions and technical projects, Corscience is the perfect employer for me.
In our main areas of expertise—electrostimulation, monitoring, ventilation and gas analysis as well as mobile health—we are well positioned in more than just technological areas. As a one-stop provider, we offer our customers complete custom solutions from development through approval and production to life cycle management. With our market and user knowledge, it’s also very enjoyable to support customers through their projects and beyond.
What’s your remit in sales at Corscience?
In sales, we support three business areas:
- Engineering services
- Products and licences
- Production and test services
So there’s a never a lack of interesting or diverse challenges. From customer contact to initial consultations or contract negotiations in large service projects—the sales tasks vary daily and require responsibility and tact. I really enjoy being a reliable sales partner to our different customers. The project diversity, individual advice and precision work on the highest technical level bring variety and shared successes to every day. We work hand in hand with development, quality management, series management and production.
