Capnometry

Capnometry is used to measure the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in a patient’s exhaled air. Capnometers are devices that only provide pure numerical values. Capnographs, on the other hand, also display the corresponding curve and allow for an appropriate evaluation.

For the production of capnographs, Corscience offers the CAP201 capnography module, which monitors the CO2 concentration in the breathing air using the bypass method.
