20 years Corscience
This year Corscience is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The engineering specialist based in Erlangen was founded in September 2001. Right from the start, the focus was on innovation and we initially took a pioneering role in the defibrillation sector, which was one of our first COR technologies (= special fields with market and technological expertise). Over the following years, additional COR technologies emerged.
Dr. Claudius Moor, Managing Director since 2016, also an employee from the very beginning, looks back but also forward into the future: “Over the past 20 years, we have developed new COR technologies through system development. Everything started with defibrillation in 2001, followed by monitoring in 2004, mobile health in 2008, and gas analysis in 2012. Ventilation has also been added in recent years. In future, we will continue to establish comprehensive market and technology expertise in other areas and supply medical technology manufacturers around the world with outstanding high-tech solutions, being service provider and supplier of products and modules.”
This development is of course also reflected in our growing headcount: “We started off with five employees and are now a team of around 100 experts from many different fields. Many thanks to the entire Corscience workforce, our customers and everyone who has joined us on our journey. We are looking forward to the next 20 years.”
