Corscience at MedConf 2025 –
Focus on Safe Medical Technology

From May 6 to 8, 2025, the medical technology industry will gather at the Holiday Inn Munich-Unterhaching for MedConf – the leading conference for software and device development in medical technology. Corscience will contribute with a hands-on presentation, bringing years of experience in the development of safety-critical medical devices to the stage.

Developing Safe Medical Device Software in Practice
Manuel Seufert has been with Corscience for nearly 20 years – starting as a software developer and project manager, and now leading the development team in the area of Defibrillation Shock & Analysis. As an expert in safety-critical medical device development, ECG algorithms, and particularly electrical engineering, he is actively involved in national and international standards committees for defibrillation and diagnostics.
In his presentation, he will highlight the key aspects of software development for safe medical devices. The focus lies on identifying and mitigating potential hazards – starting with precise requirements and project planning, risk analysis, reproducible development environments, automated testing, and comprehensive documentation. Attendees will gain practical tools to build consistent and compliant development processes for medical technology software.

About MedConf
MedConf was the first conference organized by HLMC Events GmbH after its founding in 2007 – and has since been held annually in Munich. From the very beginning, the event has focused on standards and regulations, software development, risk management, and quality assurance in medical technology.
Over the years, MedConf has evolved into a central technology hub and networking platform within the medical technology industry. New topics such as device networking, safety & security, artificial intelligence, medical apps, agility in development, and laboratory automation have been added to the conference’s diverse program.
